During the Zoo Negara anniversary celebratory event on January 27th, witnessed by Malaysian Prime Minister, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, our Group CEO, Tham Chee Aun, proudly handed a ceremonial donation cheque to Zoo Negara’s Deputy President, Datuk Rosly Rahmat Ahmat Lana. This symbolic gesture signifies our gift—a RM300,000, 100kWp rooftop solar system for the Giant Panda Conservatory Centre, honouring their remarkable 60th Anniversary. 

 

As part of the effort to reduce the electricity consumption of the 24/7 Panda Conservation Centre, the solar system is expected to save the Zoo more than RM65,000 in electricity bills annually. The saving means more funds can be channelled towards the well-being of the animals at the zoo.
