Celebrating Sustainability & Innovation with USM (Universiti Sains Malaysia)

Ditrolic Energy proudly congratulates Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) for receiving the Special Awards category at the National Energy Awards (NEA) 2024. The prestigious accolade was presented by YAB Dato' Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) of Malaysia, in recognition of USM’s outstanding contributions to sustainability and renewable energy.

As a key partner in USM’s journey towards clean energy, Ditrolic Energy was honoured to witness this milestone achievement, with our COO, Mr Phoon Hee Yau, joining USM on stage to celebrate the occasion. The award highlights the success of the 10.6 MWp solar project, one of the largest solar installations at a public university in Malaysia. This initiative not only reinforces USM’s leadership in sustainability but also marks a significant step towards achieving Malaysia’s Net-Zero ambitions.
